P Money

Born in New Cross, southeast London, P Money, real name Paris Joel Moore-Williams, established himself from the mid-2000s in British grime with a fast, nervous flow strongly marked by the culture of clashes, pirate radio and collective sets. Initially active within Fatal Assassins and later the OGz crew in Lewisham, P Money operates primarily within a grime-centred register but has also worked on drum and bass, dubstep and bass music productions, while retaining a direct writing style inherited from London MCing. His early discographic landmarks include the mixtapes Coins 2 Notes (2007), P Money Is Power (2008) and Money Over Everyone (2009), followed by a series of projects that accompanied his trajectory on stage and in the studio. P Money has also appeared on tracks with Magnetic Man, DJ Zinc, Example and KSI, and his activity spans grime circuits to more electronic scenes. Among his verified releases are the album Live & Direct (2016), several EPs such as Round the Clock (2013), and the joint project Streets, Love & Other Stuff with Whiney in 2023. P Money remains associated with a very frontal, confrontational style of grime conceived as much for recording as for live clashes.
