Boy In Space

Under the name Boy In Space, Robin Lundbäck has since the late 2010s developed a solo project born in Alingsås, Sweden, at the crossroads of contemporary pop and R&B. Before this path, he was part of the trio JTR, formed with his brothers, which appeared on The X Factor Australia and remained active until the mid-2010s. Launched solo in 2018 with the singles Goodbye, Give Me and California, Boy In Space subsequently refined a writing style focused on relationships, breakups and uncertainty, carried by sober productions where pop refrains, airy melodies and soul inflections mingle. The tracks 7UP, Cold, Drown, On a Prayer with Shy Martin, Caroline and u n eye establish this aesthetic, between melancholic pop and light R&B, without electronic overload. Boy In Space has also multiplied collaborations and appearances, notably with Alan Walker and K-391 on Paradise in 2021, as well as with NOTD, Winona Oak or Said the Sky. His discography includes the EPs Live in 2020, Frontyard in 2021, Backyard in 2022 and Copium in 2024. On stage, Boy In Space notably supported Alec Benjamin in 2019 and was due to accompany Jeremy Zucker in Europe in 2020.
