Fly by Midnight

Fly by Midnight is the project of singer‑songwriter Justin Bryte and producer‑guitarist Slavo, an American duo formed in New York in the mid‑2010s. Originating from rearranged cover videos posted online, Fly by Midnight soon moved to original compositions and developed an indie‑pop sound with synth‑pop contours, characterized by supple electronic rhythms, understated guitars, and an emphasis on vocal harmonies. The project explores both melancholic and luminous atmospheres, favoring textures inspired by the 1980s while rooted in contemporary pop songwriting. Since their beginnings the duo has released numerous singles, EPs and studio albums primarily in digital form, building its discography through incremental additions rather than major stylistic shifts. Based between New York and Los Angeles, they engage in occasional collaborations with international pop and electronic artists and perform their repertoire live in a compact format that highlights Fly by Midnight's vocal and melodic dimension.
