M Huncho
From northwest London and of Afghan origin, M Huncho has developed since the late 2010s a British rap style that sits between trap, sung melodies and smooth flows, with often introspective writing and productions that can be dark, airy or highly rhythmic. He drew attention in 2017 with his Mad About Bars session, before releasing the EP Get Out the same year and 48 Hours in 2018. This initial phase established the foundations of a personal style on the border between rap and melody, rooted in the London scene but open to wider influences. His career continued with the mixtapes Utopia in 2019 and Huncholini the 1st in 2020, followed by the joint project DNA with Nafe Smallz, also released in 2020. M Huncho went on to collaborate with artists such as Headie One, D-Block Europe, Unknown T, Potter Payper, Yxng Bane, Gazo and Jul, placing him both in UK rap and in more international circuits. His discography then includes the albums Chasing Euphoria (2022) and My Neighbours Don’t Know (2023), followed by 36 Hours with Potter Payper in 2024 and U2opia in 2025, which continue a formula mixing trap darkness, sung choruses and urban storytelling.
