KATI K
Born in 1999 under the name Katja Keuter, KATI K operates at the intersection of contemporary German pop, urban influences and writing focused on relationships, heartbreak and mental health. Initially active on social media from the mid-2010s, she released her first songs toward the end of the decade, including Steine im Bauch in 2019, and followed with singles that establish a melodic, direct and accessible pop format, often driven by clear refrains and production close to German pop-rap. KATI K later developed a career marked by several collaborations, notably with Edo Saiya, Philipp Dittberner, Finch, 1986zig and Tream, placing her at the crossroads of pop song, urban pop and more radio-friendly formats. Her first album Alles oder Nichts was released in 2024. Based in Munich according to recent sources, KATI K has also worked outside the sole musical frame, notably on content related to love life and well-being, as well as writing with the publication of Your Best Friend in 2023. On stage as in the studio, KATI K participates in a current German pop that blends a sense of confession, simple vocal lines, and arrangements designed to cross between intimate song and mainstream production.
