Erin Kinsey

Born in Texas, Erin Kinsey developed an early songwriting style rooted in American country and began working on songs at age 11, before relocating to Nashville to become part of the city's country scene. Her repertoire sits between contemporary country, pop‑country and singer‑songwriter ballads, with a narrative‑centered approach, accessible melodies and a restrained delivery. Erin Kinsey reached a milestone in 2021 by signing a contract with RECORDS Nashville, an imprint associated with Sony Music, and released the EP 40 East in 2022. Across her releases she has refined a style that blends radio‑friendly formats, autobiographical writing and themes related to adolescence, relationships and coming of age. Alongside her work as a performer, she also writes and co‑writes for other artists, with songs recorded notably by Dolly Parton, Rita Wilson, Monica and Sara Evans.
