Pedro Sampaio

Born in Rio de Janeiro in 1997, Pedro Sampaio first developed his relationship with music through percussion before being noticed as a DJ, singer and producer. He began to gain visibility in 2017 by publishing remixes and reworked versions of well‑known tracks online, and signed with Warner Music Brasil in 2018. His work sits within funk carioca and baile funk, with a strong emphasis on club rhythms, short choruses and regular crossover with Brazilian pop and electronic music. The single “Sentadão”, released in 2019 with Felipe Original and JS O Mão de Ouro, marked an important milestone in his establishment on the Brazilian pop‑funk scene. Pedro Sampaio has since continued with collaborations and solo releases while strengthening his live presence at festivals such as Rock in Rio, Lollapalooza Brasil and Rock in Rio Lisboa. His discography includes the albums Chama Meu Nome (2022) and Astro (2024), which features “Escada do Prédio” with Marina Sena.
