WODD
Based in Montréal after beginning his career in France, WODD develops a bass music project at the intersection of riddim, dubstep and a disco imagination he calls Disco Riddim. His approach blends funky basslines, psychedelic textures, intentionally abrasive synths and club‑ready structures, with a pronounced taste for contrasts between danceable grooves and more frontal impacts. Present within the Kannibalen Records ecosystem—both on the label and in its management roster—WODD has gradually established a distinctive sonic identity on the North American electronic scene. His trajectory also includes DJ sets focused on energy and mixing precision, in a bass‑oriented register geared toward festivals and clubs, as well as collaborations with Black Tiger Sex Machine and remixes for artists such as ATLiens, Kai Wachi and Dabin. Between production and performance, WODD develops a coherent universe where visual aesthetic and musical direction extend the same idea of an off‑kilter, dense and rhythmically marked sound.
