Georgia Harmer

Within Toronto’s independent music scene, Canadian musician Georgia Harmer crafts a world at the crossroads of indie rock, folk, and melodic pop. Trained in singing and songwriting from a very young age, Harmer first shared her songs online before shaping a broader repertoire inspired by everyday observations and intimate relationships. Her debut album, Stay In Touch, was released in 2022 on the Toronto label Arts & Crafts and firmly established her aesthetic, with tracks that move between stripped-back ballads, denser rock textures, and warm, voice-forward arrangements. Harmer’s compositions lean on electric and acoustic guitars, supple rhythms, and direct melodic lines, while playing with subtle dynamic shadings and measured tempo shifts. Active across Canadian and North American stages, she performs both with a full band and in smaller setups, adapting her songs to settings ranging from small, intimate venues to independent music festivals.
