Hysta

French DJ and producer active on the hardcore scene, Hysta has been developing since the late 2010s a project focused on the fastest currents of European hard music. Behind the name Hysta is Thaïs Morel, based in France, who quickly moved toward a sound that blends hardcore, uptempo and gabber influences, featuring high tempos, very pronounced kicks and melodic or vocal breaks designed for the dancefloor. Initially present as a DJ on rave stages and at specialized events, Hysta later expanded into production, releasing singles and contributing to hardcore compilations issued by European labels dedicated to the genre. Hysta's releases alternate between solo tracks and collaborations with other producers from the same scene, strengthening her presence within the international networks of digital hardcore. In clubs as well as at festivals, Hysta builds sets that explore different shades of contemporary hardcore — from a more brutal, industrial style to tracks close to frenchcore — while maintaining the direct, rhythmic approach that characterizes her artistic identity.
