Miel de montagne

Active on the French pop scene since the late 2010s, Miel de montagne is the project of a Paris-based musician and producer whose songwriting sits between francophone chanson, electronic pop, and light house touches. First noticed through tracks shared online, Miel de montagne gradually established himself in a style where a poised vocal delivery, everyday lyrics, and simple melodies coexist with supple electronic rhythms. A self-titled debut album released in 2019 laid the foundations of this identity, defined by straightforward choruses and minimalist arrangements, while Tout autour de nous, released in 2022, broadened the scope toward a more orchestrated pop with more acoustic instruments and song-driven formats. On stage, Miel de montagne performs in clubs as well as in multipurpose venues and at festivals, with a setup that shifts between an electronic live set and a configuration closer to a pop band, fostering a hybrid aesthetic. Over the years, he has engaged in one-off collaborations with other artists from the new francophone pop scene and become part of a network of independent labels and collectives supporting the emergence of a scene that blends the heritage of chanson with accessible electronic music.
