The Tenors

Formed in Canada in the mid-2000s, The Tenors developed a contemporary classical singing project that blends pop, ballad and lyrical influences. Initially active as The Canadian Tenors before adopting the name The Tenors in the early 2010s, the ensemble operates as a male vocal group—at times a trio, at others a quartet—centred on close harmonies and orchestral-style arrangements. Their repertoire ranges from pop-standard covers to classically inspired arias and traditional songs, performed mainly in English but also in other languages, with attention to melodic atmosphere and vocal textures. On stage and in recordings, The Tenors belong to the North American classical crossover stream, regularly collaborating with orchestras and guest artists from pop or television music. The discography notably includes Lead with Your Heart (2012), which places greater emphasis on original compositions, followed by Under One Sky (2015) and Christmas Together (2017), where The Tenors continue to combine accessible classical singing, adult pop and seasonally themed arrangements for multiple male voices.
