Ben Ellis

Within the Welsh scene, Ben Ellis is developing a repertoire of British pop sung in English, positioned between singer-songwriter craft and contemporary melodic songwriting. The Wales-born singer-songwriter has gained momentum through regular support from BBC Radio Wales—where he featured on the A List—and through plays on BBC Radio 1. His growth also reflects grassroots work within the local scene: Ben Ellis launched PLUCK, an evening dedicated to showcasing new Welsh talent, in collaboration with hosts Sam & Danni. Alongside his solo releases he played numerous dates across the UK before expanding into Europe, notably on a shared tour with Alfie Jukes. In 2025 Ben Ellis is also billed at festivals such as TRNSMT and Latitude. His style rests on direct songs, a clear delivery and accessible pop, where an acoustic approach remains present without ruling out a more contemporary production.
