Bradley Simpson

Born in Sutton Coldfield in the West Midlands of England, Bradley Simpson has shaped his career between British pop, pop rock and melody-driven songwriting centered on the guitar. Initially known as the lead singer and guitarist of The Vamps, Simpson emerged in the early 2010s after meeting James McVey, later helping to establish the band on the UK pop scene alongside Connor Ball and Tristan Evans. His clear vocals and knack for a hook place him in an accessible register at the crossroads of guitar pop, light rock and a more acoustic vein. Alongside his group work, Simpson initiated a personal project that foregrounds more introspective writing and a solo format less bound to band dynamics. This evolution took shape with The Panic Years, released in 2025 as his first album under his own name. There he extends the melodic foundations that have marked his career while tightening his focus on more personal songs within a contemporary pop aesthetic informed by folk rock and indie pop.
