Tedua

Born in Genoa in 1994 as Mario Molinari, Tedua grew up between Liguria and Milan, spending part of his childhood in foster care before returning to Cogoleto, a key setting for his musical formation. There he became close to the Genoese rap scene and the Wild Bandana collective, alongside Izi, Vaz Tè, Guesan and Ill Rave. Tedua emerged in the mid‑2010s with the mixtapes Aspettando Orange County (2015) and Orange County Mixtape (2016), which established a rap marked by trap and drill but also by a very mobile, syncopated delivery, at times near a stream of consciousness. With Orange County California (2017), Mowgli (2018) and La Divina Commedia (2023) he broadened his palette toward more melodic hip‑hop, threaded with alternative hip‑hop, pop‑rap and R&B touches, while preserving an autobiographical writing nourished by movement, social fractures and literary or visual references. Throughout his career he has often moved between the Ligurian and Milanese scenes, collaborating notably with Chris Nolan, Charlie Charles, Ghali, Rkomi, Sfera Ebbasta and Fedez. In 2020 he released the mixtapes Vita vera mixtape and Vita vera mixtape: aspettando la Divina Commedia, then the EP Don't Panic in 2021, before opening in 2024 a new extension of his universe with the Paradiso edition of La Divina Commedia.
