Oh Hiroshima

Formed in Kristinehamn, Sweden, Oh Hiroshima began in the late 2000s as a DIY post‑rock project before evolving into a full band and later consolidating around a core of two brothers. Oh Hiroshima crafts a slowly unfolding sound built from reverberant guitars, atmospheric layers, measured drumming, and vocals often woven into the instrumental fabric, within a post‑rock palette that touches on shoegaze, ambient, electronica, post‑punk and, at times, a more direct indie rock. After several years of self‑release, the project took its place on the European and international post‑rock scene, both in the studio and live. With albums such as Oscillation (2019), Myriad (2022) and All Things Shining (2024), Oh Hiroshima has steered its songwriting toward more open forms without abandoning slow progressions, contrasts of density, or its distinctly visual approach to sonic textures.
