Norman Doray
Born in Auray, Brittany, Jérémy Lecarour performs and produces under the name Norman Doray, building a career rooted in house and French house with an aesthetic focused on club efficiency, filtered textures, vocal hooks and, at times, a more progressive approach. Active since the mid-2000s, he first released tracks under the aliases The Freshmakers and The Frenchmakers before continuing under his own name and issuing records on labels such as Size, Strictly Rhythm, Spinnin' and Positiva. His trajectory is closely linked to Arno Cost, with whom he has co-signed several productions over the years, including “Apocalypse” (2007), “Strong” (2014), “Together” (2019), “Darlin'” (2020) and “Show Luv” (2021). His discography also includes “Tweet It” with Tim Berg and Sebastien Drums (2010), “Breakaway” (2011), “Trilogy” with Arno Cost and Laidback Luke (2012), and “Give It Up” with Piem (2020). Norman Doray has also produced remixes for house and pop artists such as David Guetta, La Roux and Disclosure, working in a range that alternates between vocal house, disco-tinged grooves and formats tailored for the dancefloor.
