Arno Cost
Born in Nogent-sur-Marne in 1986 as Vadim Arnaud Constentin, Arno Cost emerged on the French electronic scene of the 2000s with a melodic house sound informed by French touch, progressive house and electro house. Having started producing in the late 1990s, he attracted attention in the mid-2000s with several maxis and remixes, and broke through with “Magenta” in 2007 alongside Arias, which established him on European club circuits. This early period was marked by regular collaborations with Norman Doray, notably on “Apocalypse” (2007), and by tracks such as “Souvenir”, “Darling Harbour” and “Cyan”, where his writing favors clean structures, progressive builds and a strong sense of melody. Arno Cost continued with “The Days To Come” in 2011 with Arias and Michael Feiner, “Lise” the same year, and “Trilogy” in 2012 alongside Laidback Luke and Norman Doray. His catalogue also includes the Coming Alive EP (2016) and more recent productions with Norman Doray like “Together” and “Travolta” (2019), “Darlin’” and “One Night” (2020), and “Show Luv” (2021). At the same time, Arno Cost has produced remixes for David Guetta, Martin Solveig, Moby, Goldfrapp and Arty, in a club-oriented, precise style focused on rhythmic effectiveness.
