Based in Jamaica, in the Queens borough of New York City, NESTA develops a project at the crossroads of reggae, lovers rock, melodic dancehall and contemporary R&B shaped by modern production. Raised in a family and cultural environment deeply connected to Jamaica, Nesta began by composing beats and playing instruments, notably drums, before placing singing at the center of his work. His repertoire relies on relaxed Caribbean rhythms, flowing vocal melodies and an approach that emphasizes the romantic side of reggae without losing its American urban framework. Under the name Nesta, he moves between New York scenes and international stages, with appearances at the Barclays Center as part of Planet Brooklyn and at City Splash and SXSW London in 2025.
