Paul Nazca

Born in Arles and based in the south of France, Paul Nazca has since the early 1990s developed a career rooted in techno and electronic music, with a sensibility that blends club energy, acidic textures, melodic lines and deeper moods inspired by Detroit. A DJ from 1993 and then a producer from 1995, Paul Nazca signed his first releases around the turn of the 2000s and co-founded the label Scandium Records with André Dalcan, aka Ultracolor, an important structure of the French electronic scene of that period. Over the years, Paul Nazca also releases on Boxer Recordings, BPitch Control, F...U! FCOM, Sign Industry, Sleaze Records or Skryptöm, alternating dancefloor-oriented tracks, darker productions and more melodic-toned titles. Among his verifiable discographic landmarks is the album Les Musiques de Mon Moulin, published in 2006. In parallel with his production activity, Paul Nazca is involved in organizing events in his region, notably with Secretes and then the Murmure nights, in a deliberately tight format. He has also developed several live formats and collaborations, notably with the Skryptöm collective and with Scan X, while the duo Danzca brings him together with Maxime Dangles.
