Midnight Tyrannosaurus

Based in Tampa, Florida, Midnight Tyrannosaurus has been developing a dubstep project since 2011 focused on the power of bass, metallic textures and squealing tones that push its aesthetic toward a dark, aggressive register. Midnight Tyrannosaurus emerged on the American underground dubstep scene with releases on labels such as Chronos Records, I Am Audio, Prime Audio and Anemnesis, gradually establishing a recognizable identity within the North American bass music landscape. The tracks rely on broken rhythms, brief tension builds and abrasive timbres, with a marked preference for textural effects and deep bass rather than melodic development. In this context, Midnight Tyrannosaurus adopts a direct approach designed for the physical impact of clubs and dubstep stages, staying true to a compact sonic line centered on darkness, frontal energy and production tailored for live settings.
