Logobi GT
Born in the Boullereaux neighborhood of Champigny‑sur‑Marne, Logobi GT emerged with the rise of logobi in France around the turn of the 2010s — both as a musical current and as a dance culture rooted in African and Caribbean diasporas. The project brings together Sisi‑K on vocals and several dancers, forming a collective identity based as much on rhythm as on choreography. Logobi GT’s sound sits between coupé‑décalé, afro‑urban sonorities, danceable pop and short formats designed for both club play and video. The group circulated this style on France’s urban stages with tracks like “Un bail ke yes!” and “Elle danse sexy” in 2010, and released the album La Puissance that same year. Subsequent releases included the singles “Gâter le koin” and “Sucré salé” in 2011, “Dis le moi” in 2012, and “Si t’as le flow” in 2013 — a period when the name La GT also appeared on some releases. Logobi GT collaborated occasionally with BB Model, with Fally Ipupa on “Marie Do” in 2014, and with other artists from the francophone afro and party scene. Up to “Monte en l’air” in 2016, Logobi GT remained associated with a direct, rhythm‑driven approach centered on the collective’s energy.
