Marco V
Born in Dinther, Netherlands, Marco V, whose real name is Marco Verkuijlen, established himself on Eindhoven’s club scene in the 1990s before building an international career as a DJ and producer. His sound sits at the intersection of tech trance, progressive trance, electro house and, at times, a big-room aesthetic, featuring tracks built on solid rhythms, tense synth lines and a direct dancefloor focus. Marco V gained particular attention in the early 2000s with the singles "GODD" and "Simulated" (2002), and "Loops & Tings (Relooped)" (2004), which cemented his melodic yet percussive signature. His discography includes the albums Con:fusion (2002), All Access (2004), 200V (2005), and Propaganda Pt. 1 and Propaganda Pt. 2 (2009). Over the years he has steered his music toward more hybrid forms between trance, techno and house, and he has also released material under the alias Vision 20/20. Marco V has collaborated with numerous artists, including Benjamin Bates, Paul Oakenfold, Marcel Woods and Thomas Newson.
