Kyau & Albert

Active since the mid‑1990s, Kyau & Albert brings together Germans Ralph Kyau and Steven Moebius Albert around melodic trance that blends club energy, clear vocal lines and a progressive sensibility. After starting out as Kyau vs. Albert, the duo adopted the name Kyau & Albert in 2006, continuing a career launched by the single “Let Me In” in 1996. Their story also includes the founding of the label Euphonic in 1997, an important vehicle for their production and remix work, closely connected to the German and European trance scene. Kyau & Albert’s sound rests on fluid build‑ups, sung choruses, luminous electronic textures and songwriting conceived for both the club and attentive listening. Over the years they have released several albums — including Here We Are Now (2004), Worldvibe (2006), Nights Awake (2013), Distant Lights (2015), Matching Stories (2017), Neverlost (2018) and All In Good Time (2024) — while developing an extensive catalogue of singles and remixes. Their path has also intersected with artists and labels tied to contemporary trance, notably Anjunabeats, with collaborations or releases alongside Marc Marberg, Above & Beyond, Ronski Speed, Genix, Aly & Fila and Steve Brian.
