Loco Dice

Born into a Tunisian family settled in Germany, Yassine Ben Achour, aka Loco Dice, began in hip-hop as a DJ and rapper before shifting to house and techno in the early 2000s after a formative stay in Ibiza and encouragement from Timo Maas and Sven Väth. Loco Dice developed a musical language that sits between house, tech-house and minimal techno, featuring supple grooves, thick basslines and a sense of rhythm rooted in his hip-hop background. Present across European clubs and festivals, he secured a lasting presence on the Ibiza circuit with residencies at Space and later Hï Ibiza, while also performing at venues and events like Fabric and Time Warp. His productions have appeared on Ovum, M_nus, Cadenza, Cocoon and his own label Desolat. His album discography includes 7 Dunham Place (2009), Underground Suicide (2016), Love Letters (2018) and Purple Jam (2025). Loco Dice has also released numerous remixes and collaborative projects, notably with Chris Liebing and Giggs, in a career where club energy and hip-hop heritage remain closely linked.
