Established on the German‑language hip‑hop scene, GReeeN pursues a project that sits between rap, reggae and urban pop, driven by a melodic flow and choruses sung in German. Originally from Germany, GReeeN drew attention during the 2010s through sustained online activity, releasing videos and tracks that opened doors to club and festival stages across Germany, Austria and Switzerland. His music rests on rhythms influenced by reggae and dancehall, combined with productions inspired by contemporary rap, and constantly alternates between rapped sections and more sung passages. GReeeN’s lyrics frequently address cannabis culture, the need to escape, personal relationships and introspective themes rooted in everyday life. Through a stream of self‑produced singles, EPs and albums or releases on independent labels, he has increased collaborations with other artists from the German‑language rap and reggae sphere while consolidating an immediately identifiable sonic identity.
