Hollie Cook
For more than a decade Hollie Cook has developed a personal vision of reggae that blends pop softness, Caribbean heritage and soul influences. The daughter of Paul Cook (Sex Pistols) and backing singer Jeni Cook, she grew up in a home where music circulated freely, nurturing her vocal sensitivity from an early age. After a notable stint with The Slits in the late 2000s she launched a solo career and crafted a style she calls tropical pop — a bright reggae carried by meticulous arrangements. Her self-titled debut in 2011 brought her to attention, followed by Twice in 2014 and Vessel of Love in 2018, which confirmed a warmer, more immersive and orchestrated approach. In 2022 Happy Hour marked a further evolution with even softer textures and stronger, more assured songwriting. On stage as in the studio, Hollie Cook moves with constant elegance, building a world where reggae becomes a gentle, colourful and thoroughly modern space.
