Evil Invaders

Formed in Leopoldsburg, Belgium, Evil Invaders has since 2007 developed fast heavy metal rooted in the 1980s speed metal and thrash metal, with tight riffs, melodic solos, and a very distinctive high-pitched vocal delivery by Johannes 'Joe' Van Audenhove, who is also a guitarist. After a first demo, D-emokill, in 2009, the band released the EP Evil Invaders in 2013, a release that accompanied its first shows beyond the Belgian scene. Evil Invaders then embarked on European and Japanese tours and appeared at specialized festivals such as Keep It True, Party.San, Graspop, Summer Breeze or Wacken, gradually establishing the band in the international metal circuit. Its first album, Pulses of Pleasure, appeared in 2015, followed by the EP In for the Kill in 2016, then Feed Me Violence in 2017. With Shattering Reflection in 2022, Evil Invaders slightly broadens its approach without leaving its speed/thrash core, maintaining a nervous writing style nourished by classic heavy metal. The lineup has undergone several changes, but remains centered around Joe Van Audenhove, with Senne Jacobs, Max Maxheim and Joeri van de Schoot in its recent lineup.
