H.E.A.T.
Formed in 2007 in Upplands Väsby, Sweden, H.E.A.T emerged when musicians from Dream and Trading Fate joined forces. The band plays melodic hard rock with strong arena rock and AOR influences, characterized by direct choruses, prominent guitars and a sound shaped by 1980s rock. H.E.A.T released a self-titled debut in 2008 and followed with Freedom Rock in 2010, around the time singer Kenny Leckremo left the group for health reasons and was replaced by Erik Grönwall. That period saw growing visibility on the European rock scene, with appearances at Sweden Rock Festival, support slots for Toto, Alice Cooper, Sabaton and Edguy, and a participation in Melodifestivalen 2009 with the song “1000 Miles”. With Grönwall, H.E.A.T issued Address the Nation (2012), Tearing Down the Walls (2014), Into the Great Unknown (2017) and H.E.A.T II (2020). Kenny Leckremo’s return in 2020 opened a new chapter, documented by Force Majeure (2022) and Welcome to the Future (2025). Still built around a stable core led by Jona Tee, Jimmy Jay and Don Crash, H.E.A.T functions as a seasoned live band, faithful to concise, energetic songwriting.
