DJ Gregory

Parisian producer and DJ active since the 1990s, DJ Gregory emerged within the French house movement by early on developing a sound marked by Afro percussion, Caribbean influences and a stripped‑down melodic approach. Under the DJ Gregory name he released numerous maxis on European and American house labels and founded his own imprint, Faya Combo, which became the main outlet for his club‑oriented releases. His involvement in the Africanism collective led by Bob Sinclar established him on the international house scene with a string of tracks oriented toward a vocal and instrumental groove close to African and Latin American music. At the same time he created the alias Point G, focused on a more minimal, hypnotic house, revived in the 2010s with reissues and new EPs played in clubs and festivals. Between DJ Gregory and Point G, Grégory has maintained a steady career as producer and remixer across European and North American stages, balancing vocal house, deep house and tougher, dancefloor‑focused variations.
