Forever Pavot
Forever Pavot is the project of French musician and composer Émile Sornin, an unconventional figure on the contemporary psych scene. Born from a passion for soundtracks of the 1960s and 1970s, film music and analog timbres, the project explores a rich universe where orchestral pop, progressive rock and retro‑futuristic groove mingle. A multi‑instrumentalist and director of music videos, Émile Sornin crafts music that is at once cinematic and playful, full of nods to François de Roubaix, Ennio Morricone and the French productions of that golden era. With albums such as Rhapsode, La Pantoufle and L'Idiophone, Forever Pavot has established itself as a distinctive sonic laboratory, where strings, vintage keyboards and brass converse in a precise balance between nostalgia and invention. Between studio and stage he gathers a band of virtuoso musicians around him to bring his compositions to life, asserting a bold, elegant style firmly rooted in a musical culture both erudite and delightfully offbeat.
