Diandra

Born in Hyvinkää, Finland, Diandra Flores—known professionally as Diandra—performs vocal pop in Finnish and English, ranging from ballads to more straightforward pop songs. The daughter of a Chilean father and a Finnish mother, she spent part of her childhood in Chile before continuing her musical training in Finland, including studies at the Lahti Conservatory. Her career was shaped early around singing: after participating in youth talent contests, she gained national recognition by winning the 2012 edition of Idols in Finland. She followed up by releasing Outta My Head in 2012, a debut album combining original compositions and covers, and Dynamiittii in 2014, which marked a more pronounced shift toward Finnish-language pop. A Christmas record, Kerran joulukuun aikaan, followed in 2015. Her subsequent career has included various television and stage formats, such as Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu in 2013 with the song "Colliding Into You", the show Tähdet, tähdet in 2014, and occasional collaborations, notably with Cheek on "Huitoo" in 2016. Since then, Diandra has continued to alternate between singles, live appearances and projects related to Finnish popular music.
