Féloche

Since the 2000s, Féloche has been building an aesthetic in which the mandolin occupies a central place, at the crossroads of pop, folk and influences from world music. The French singer-songwriter, who first played in various groups before launching his solo project in the early 2010s, crafts songs with supple rhythms, instantly catchy choruses and arrangements often tinged with light electronics. With tracks like “Silbo” and “Darwin avait raison,” Féloche established himself on club and festival stages and earned a nomination at the Victoires de la musique in 2015, a milestone in his career. The albums Chimie vivante (2018) and Féloche and the Mandolin Orchestra (2019) continued his quest for a sound that blends narrative chanson, pop energy and orchestral colours centred on the mandolin. In the winter of 2024, a trip to India with percussionist Mosin Kawa opened a more spiritual phase for Féloche, inspiring writing that is refocused on voice, rhythm and a kind of melodic simplicity. Having entered a new cycle of solo concerts, Féloche now presents a stage repertoire that revisits earlier pieces while unveiling new songs in preparation for an album announced for 2026.
