Massimo Silverio
Born in 1992 in Cercivento, in Carnia, north of Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Massimo Silverio develops a project at the crossroads of singer-songwriter, Alpine folk, and more contemporary sound research. He writes and sings in Carnian, a minority language spoken in the Carnic Alps, a central choice in his work, both for the poetic dimension of the lyrics and for the vocal material it brings to his music. Massimo Silverio's aesthetics blend acoustic instruments, electroacoustic textures, and electronic treatments in spare forms, often traversed by an attention to landscape, memory, and border cultures. His path sits between popular tradition and personal writing, without a fixed patrimonial approach, with a language that borrows as much from song as from experimental forms. Massimo Silverio thus performs on stages where contemporary music, sound creation, and proposals anchored in singular linguistic territories meet, affirming a musical identity closely tied to Carnia while remaining open to broader dissemination contexts.
