Marta Del Grandi

The Italian musician and composer Marta Del Grandi develops a universe where intimate songwriting, experimental textures and the legacy of vocal jazz intersect. Trained in jazz before turning to a more personal form of writing, Marta Del Grandi constructs songs on the border between art pop, atmospheric folk and a kind of dream pop with carefully worked arrangements, carried by a voice brought to the forefront and often cinematic atmospheres. Based in Europe and active on various independent scenes, Marta Del Grandi performs solo or accompanied by a tight-knit band, which allows her to adapt her compositions to contexts ranging from clubs to more intimate concert halls.
