Mandyspie

Born in Montreal in 2000 and based between Canada and France, Mandyspie has been developing since 2020 a francophone rap at the crossroads of emo rap, trap, jersey club, and rock and electronic influences. Initially active on SoundCloud, Mandyspie emerges in a context close to French SoundCloud rap, with direct writing, melodic refrains, and a flow that willingly plays with rhythmic placements. Her visual universe, nourished by goth culture, dark animated films, and the pop imagination of the early 2000s, accompanies a music where tension, irony, and vulnerability coexist. After several early tracks released in 2021, she released the Polar Escape EP in 2023, followed by Monster Therapy in 2024, a project where drum and bass, trap and rock textures take a more defined place. Mandyspie then pursued several collaborations, notably with Jaymee, HALO, Douze Déluge, and Surprise, while remaining connected to underground scenes between France and Montreal. In 2025, the MINUIT MOINS UNE EP extends this trajectory with a more assertive formula, between dark melodies, nerve-wracking rhythms, and introspective rap.
