Monroe

Born in Salt Lake City, United States, Monroe, whose full name is Monroe Vata Rigby, moves between American culture and a French rooting in her family, with a mother from France and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Trained early in singing, first in a choral setting and then through a more classical vocal training, Monroe develops a repertoire that sits between classical music, lyric singing, and operatic pop. Her trajectory gains national visibility in France at the end of 2024 and the beginning of 2025 when she wins the eleventh season of the show Prodiges, dedicated to young talents in classical music.
