Angelica Bove

Born in Rome in 2003, Angelica Bove is part of a melodic Italian pop tradition centered on voice and piano, with intimate songwriting and a marked taste for understated ballads. She began drawing attention in 2023 by posting covers online, then took part in X Factor Italia the same year on Ambra Angiolini’s team, where she reached the semi-final and performed the song "L’inverno." After that initial exposure she continued with the singles "Bellissimo e poi niente" in 2024 and "La nostra malinconia," with which she joined the Sanremo Giovani selection in 2024. She returned to Sanremo Giovani in 2025 with "Mattone," which led to the Festival di Sanremo 2026 in the Nuove Proposte category; her performance earned her the Mia Martini critics’ prize and the press-room award. In January 2026 Angelica Bove released her first album, "Tana," which extends this contemporary pop aesthetic with pared-back arrangements, balancing restrained emotional tension and direct melodic lines.
