Eradikated

Formed in Sweden in the early 2020s, Eradikated operates as a four-piece playing fast, dry and upfront thrash metal rooted in the Bay Area legacy of the 1980s but expressed in a more contemporary writing style. The group favors high tempos, cutting riffs, straightforward drumming and gritty vocal lines, with an aesthetic that is direct and unembellished rather than nostalgic. After a self-released eponymous EP in 2021, Eradikated issued the album Descendants in 2023 on Indie Recordings, marking a step beyond the strictly independent scene. In the same year, Descendants was nominated for a Swedish Grammis in the hard rock/metal category. Fronted by Elvin Landaeus Csizmadia, Ragnar Östberg, Erland Östberg and Calle Frogner Moberg, Eradikated has developed a stage-ready format with tight playing and an approach faithful to their recordings. The band thus sits within a classic thrash continuum while retaining a contemporary, compact and urgent sound.
