cmqmartina
Born in Monza in 1999, in the Brianza area, Cmqmartina early on developed a pop writing style crossed by electro, synths and a sensitivity tied to Italy’s club and indie scenes. She debuted in 2019 with the singles “Lasciami andare!”, “Lago blu” and “Carne per cani”, followed by a first tour at the end of the same year and the release of Disco in 2020. That year her appearance on X Factor Italy coincided with new tracks such as “Serpente” and “Sparami”, giving greater visibility to a universe that blends straightforward hooks, electronic textures and occasionally darker tones. In 2021 Cmqmartina released Disco 2, and in 2022 Vergogna, where her approach to synthetic pop broadened towards more danceable and more direct forms. Her career also includes several collaborations with artists from Italy’s alternative and electronic pop scenes, among them Lo Stato Sociale, Populous, Myss Keta and Francesco De Leo. In 2025 Cmqmartina released Brianzola Issues, her fourth studio album, after the singles “Kids Never Sleep”, “Allucinazione”, “Vinted” and “Vuoi soltanto una hit”, continuing work centered on contemporary Italian pop: tense, melodic and marked by a digital aesthetic.
