M¥SS KETA
Born in 2013 in Milan’s underground around the Motel Forlanini collective, M¥SS KETA was created as a musical and performative project that plays with anonymity; a masked face became a central element of her public identity as early as the Burqa di Gucci period. M¥SS KETA moves between rap, electropop, club music and a punk attitude, with a blunt, ironic and often satirical approach to Milanese nightlife, gender codes, celebrity culture and urban excess. After the first track Milano, sushi & coca, she expanded this world on the mixtape L’angelo dall’occhiale da sera (2016) and the EP Carpaccio ghiacciato (2017), which notably includes a collaboration with Populous. Her discography broadened with Una vita in Capslock (2018), Paprika (2019) and Club Topperia (2022) — three records that shift her style from electronic spoken‑rap toward more pop and danceable formats without abandoning her dry delivery or penchant for subversive reworking. On stage, M¥SS KETA favours collective, visual performances, often accompanied by performers, and regularly crosses paths with Italian pop and rap artists such as Elodie, Guè, Mahmood, Arisa and Subsonica.
