SPEEDBOYS

Based in Heidelberg, Germany, SPEEDBOYS brings together two DJs and producers who have developed a format between a club set and a live performance, featuring on-stage microphone work and, on certain dates, guest vocal reinforcements. The Speedboys project is built around fast, melodic trance, threaded with clear references to 1990s rave, eurodance, hard house and happy hardcore. Their approach favors high tempos, pronounced vocal hooks or motifs, and songwriting designed for the dancefloor, without being limited to a simple DJ set. Speedboys therefore presents their own tracks in a direct format where production, mixing and mic presence function as a unified whole. In their stage appearances, SpeedboysYS cultivate a duo dynamic that welcomes interventions from singer friends or MCs, situating the project within a collective, celebratory rave culture. This identity, born in the German club context, links the codes of vocal trance and the most vibrant rave aesthetics to a tight, legible stage execution.
