Behind DJ Tallboy stands Alex Trüggelmann, a producer and DJ active on the German‑speaking electronic scene and the founder of the Tausendnamen collective. Music has been central to his path since childhood: he began playing drums at four and started teaching himself production at twelve, developing a practice nourished by influences from multiple genres. DJ Tallboy shapes melodic, taut club electronic music built around immediately readable lines, gradual builds and a rhythmic foundation designed for the dancefloor. His approach aims less to lock into a single label than to shift the codes of the music he moves through, with a marked taste for contrasts between impact, clarity and emotional intensity. Under the name DJ Tallboy, Alex Trüggelmann has notably released the track «Eskaliert», the first landmark of a project that combines production, DJ sets and collective dynamics.
