Bruno Berle

From Maceió, capital of the Brazilian state of Alagoas, Bruno Berle has developed a repertoire of delicate songs at the crossroads of MPB, bossa nova, folk and a Brazilian pop with supple rhythms. Later based in São Paulo, Bruno Berle is part of the Brazilian independent scene that emerged around the turn of the 2020s, with direct, understated songwriting where voice, melody and interpretive nuance remain front and center. His first album, No Reino dos Afetos, was released in 2022 and laid the foundations of an intimate world built on gentle harmonies, brief forms and light arrangements. Bruno Berle thus operates within a landscape of new Brazilian songs that blend popular heritage, acoustic sensibility and a search for formal simplicity. With the single "Tirolirole," he extends this approach, preserving a hushed vocal delivery and lyrics attentive to everyday images, in music that is at once tender, rhythmic and very tightly shaped.
