Edwin Evers Band

Around Dutch drummer and radio presenter Edwin Evers, the Edwin Evers Band was formed in the early 2000s — a large pop‑rock ensemble based in the Netherlands that gradually established itself on the national live scene. The band, bringing together several singers, a rhythm section and brass, developed a repertoire focused on covers of pop, rock, soul and funk classics from the 1970s to the present, rearranged for a festive, frequently performed concert format. The Edwin Evers Band initially performed in the wake of Edwin Evers’s radio activities, then expanded its scope to tours in clubs, concert halls and outdoor events across the country. The lineup has taken part in numerous special shows, themed evenings and live recordings for television or concert captures, reinforcing the Edwin Evers Band’s place in the Dutch musical landscape. Without limiting itself to a single style, the group explores different eras of international pop, paying attention to vocal arrangements and the group’s onstage energy.
