Edwin Evers Band - Classics Tour

On 11 June 2026 the Edwin Evers Band will bring the Classics Tour to the Zuiderparktheater in The Hague. Around drummer and radio host Edwin Evers, a large live formation developed in the early 2000s into a fixture on the Dutch stage: multiple singers, a tight rhythm section and brass players who together create the sound of a full pop and soul band. The band centers on the classics: pop, rock, soul and funk from the 1970s to the present, rearranged for an energetic live show in which the vocals and the groove take centre stage.

The repertoire reads like a musical timeline. They move from seventies grooves to contemporary radio hits, leaving room for multi-part vocals, breaks and concise solos. Not one-to-one copies, but versions crafted for the stage, with attention to dynamics and interplay. The group earned its stripes through radio shows, club tours and open-air concerts and brings that stage experience to The Hague. The Classics Tour thus promises an evening of familiar songs, performed by a large ensemble that expands the arrangements and carries the audience from the first riff to the final chorus.
