InMe
Formed in Brentwood, Essex in 1996 under the name Drowned before adopting the name InMe in 2001, the English band sits in a register blending alternative rock, post-grunge and alternative metal, with a sound built around dense guitars, pronounced melodic lines and writing that grew more complex over the years. Led by Dave McPherson, InMe first drew attention in the early 2000s with Overgrown Eden (2003), followed by White Butterfly (2005), two albums that established the band on the British rock scene. From Daydream Anonymous (2007), InMe shifted toward more technical and progressive structures, a direction continued on Herald Moth (2009), before a more melodic turn on The Pride (2012). Remaining active despite several lineup changes, the band also released The Destinations EP in 2014, Trilogy: Dawn in 2015 and Jumpstart Hope in 2020. InMe's trajectory is tied to a strong live presence in the UK and Europe, in contexts ranging from headlining tours to rock and metal festivals. Now organized as a quintet, InMe continues to articulate post-grunge energy, metal tension and a sense of melody in a format that remains primarily geared toward live performance.
