Byron The Aquarius

Byron The Aquarius is an American producer, DJ and keyboardist who develops a house approach informed by jazz, broken beat and soul grooves, with a central emphasis on chords, keyboard lines and melodic playing. He first gained attention with his own productions and his studio work alongside Kai Alce, in a register where organic warmth meets looser club structures. In 2015 Byron The Aquarius released the album Planets of Love on BBE, and Theo Parrish selected two tracks for the Highlife EP, released in 2016 on Sound Signature. Since then his path has included labels such as Wild Oats, Eglo Records, Axis and Shall Not Fade, while retaining a coherent identity between deep house, jazz-funk textures and rhythms rooted in Detroit and Atlanta. On stage he alternates between DJ sets, live shows and keyboard-focused performances, and has played festivals and clubs like Dimensions, Dekmantel, Suncebeat and All Points East. In 2022 he also launched his own label, TALKNOI$E Records.
