Aurore

Born in Marseille in 2020, Aurore operates in a register situated between melodic hardcore, punk hardcore, metalcore and touches inherited from 1990s nu metal. The band, now formed by Clément Vauchelle on vocals, Maxime Olinger on guitar and Ugo Cigliano on drums, develops a tense and direct writing, driven by short, nervous tracks, where melodies still hold a significant place amid the upfront energy. Aurore records its first album, SPARKS, released in 2023, which lays the foundations of this aesthetic by blending punk urgency, massive riffs and more melancholic tones. In the wake, the band continues live activity in the south of France, with festival appearances such as MRKSFEST, then broadens its path with the release of the single KILL HIM and a remix EP. In 2024, Aurore extends this dynamic with a tour in France and Belgium. Through this still relatively recent journey, Aurore is part of an independent scene where contemporary hardcore, alternative influences and a sense of a punchy format intersect.
