Mira Luoti

Born in Pori, Finland, in 1978, Mira Luoti established herself in the Finnish pop-rock scene in the early 2000s as one of the two voices of PMMP, a duo formed with Paula Vesala after their meeting in the context of the Popstars show in 2002. With PMMP, Mira Luoti performed on the country's major pop and rock stages until the band's end in 2013, in a register that mixed pop refrains, rock energy, and lyrics in Finnish. After this period, Mira Luoti developed a more personal solo career, still anchored in pop rock, with more melancholic tones and a more introspective writing. She released the album Tunnelivisio in 2016, followed by Haureuden valtatiel in 2019. In parallel, Mira Luoti participates in the project Maanalainen armeija with Jouni Hynynen, in a more rock vein. Her activity is not limited to music: Mira Luoti has also worked as an actress and stage singer, notably in musical and theatrical productions in Finland, extending a stage presence marked by the alternation between rock intensity, pop formats, and more direct interpretation.
